Apple Begins Selling Refurbished iPad Starting at $279

Apple has started selling refurbished iPad models through the online store in the United States from the past week, which is released in September 2020 with an A12 Bionic chip with a Neural Engine, 10.2-inch Retina display. This was the first time it is selling since the device was released. These refurbished electronics will be sold at a discount price of 15% less than the original price for the new models. iPad 8th generation pricing starts at $279 for the 32 GB compared to the new model pricing of $329.

Apple says “Its customers will receive the almost new device with original Apple replacements components which are thoroughly inspected and cleaned. These refurbished Apple devices come with a new outer shell and batteries. Every IOS device will come with all the cables, accessories, operating systems.”

Let’s Take A Deep Look at how Apple is selling refurbished iPad:

Apple assures that refurbished iPad models are tested thoroughly and repacked in a white box which includes lightning cable, power adapter, manuals, and all necessary accessories. And it also comes with a new battery and a new outer shell, which similarly looks like the brand-new model.

This refurbished iPad comes with a 1-year Apple warranty. We can also extend the warranty with AppleCare+ for the iPad plan. The warranty plan will be like $69 or $3.49per month for 24 months in the United States as a one-time fee. Last week Apple has also started selling refurbished iPad 2020 models, which is a good deal straight from Apple. There are other options and better deals also from resellers like Best Buy, Amazon.

You will not be identifying any difference between the original product and the refurbished one both seem to be similar, you will be getting a pre-owned iPad here, but some faulty components are replaced with genuine Apple parts. This refurbishing process includes different steps to make it look like the original product.
