Tesla was started in 2003 by a group of engineers, who believed and wanted to prove that people didn’t need to compromise to drive electric cars. They want to prove electric vehicles can be better, quicker, and more fun to drive than gasoline cars. Today, Tesla builds not only all-electric vehicles but also infinitely scalable clean energy generation and products. Tesla believes the faster the world stops relying on fossil fuels and moves towards a zero-emission future, the better it is for humanity. So, where did this all end up and how did Tesla’s problems come into the picture.

Not everything is best when it comes to an electric vehicle and Tesla has a few kinks to work out. Take a look at a few of the complaints that current owners have raised about this electric car on various platforms such as Reddit, online forums, and even on review sites.

They may not be the best quality vehicles. If you have ever experienced difficulties with Tesla then you know better than anyone how expensive repairs can become, if they are not covered by warranty or insurance. This explains why insurance premiums are so high for these vehicles. Issues such as bolts rusting off after a mere few years of ownership or doors constantly misaligning themselves.

Maintenance is too expensive Tesla has earned a place in the hall of fame for overpriced vehicles. Even though Tesla doesn’t need oil changes, spark plug replacements, or oil filters. Tesla recommends drivers invest in their maintenance plans that include a thorough inspection of the vehicle every 12,000 miles. The prices vary based on the year and model of the car.

Power Steering failure is a major issue and it recalled 15,000 vehicles regarding the power steering issues.
