Top 5 Apps in Android: July 2022

If you’re looking for good stuff it’s safe to assume that you have some of these apps already. There are a ton of amazing Android apps out there, however, there are a few that stand alone at the top. These apps are useful to nearly everyone.

List of Top 5 Apps in Android: July 2022

  • 1Weather

It features a simple design that displays the current weather, forecast for up to 12 weeks, and a radar. You are also provided with a fairly decent set of slightly customizable widgets along with the standard stuff like severe weather notifications. You can also find a radar so to see the storms approaching.

The free version has every feature along with some mild and inoffensive advertising. The single $1.99 in-app purchase removes this advertising, too.

  • Google Drive

This is a cloud storage solution available on Android where all new users get 15GB for free permanently upon first signing up. This includes Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Photos, Gmail, Google Calendar, as well as Google Keep. A few of the features of these apps include live collaboration, deep sharing features, along with compatibility with Microsoft Office documents. If you want you can also upgrade to a subscription by paying $1.99-$299.99 per month

  • Google Maps and Waze

Google Maps virtually owns the navigation apps scene, add that to the Waze experience, which includes tons of its features, and you won’t need another navigation app, all while being free.

  • Google Search / Assistant / Feed

you can ask it whatever you want, as it supports a variety of commands. You can control smart home products, ask just about any question, and it has the ability to even do simple math problems. This is included with a variety of products, for example, Google Home speakers.

There is also a second Google Assistant app for those who want a quick launch icon on home. The hardware may cost money; however, Google Assistant is free.

  • LastPass

It’s a password manager that lets you save your login credentials safely and securely. This app can help generate nearly impossible passwords for one to use to secure their accounts. All of this is controlled using a master password. It has cross-platform support (premium version only which costs $12 a year) so one can use it on computers, mobile devices, tablets, or whatever.
