How to Delete Photo Albums on iPhone, iPad?
Deleting a photo album doesn’t delete any photos that are inside the album. The photos will continue to be available in the Recent album as well as in other albums.

Open the “Photos” app on your Mac, then go to the sidebar to expand the “My Albums”. Here, search for the folder that you wish to delete, then right-click it.
From the menu, click on “Delete Album”.
You will be able to see a pop-up asking for confirmation. Here, click on “Delete”.
The album will be deleted from your iCloud Photo Library. The changes made will be synced across all your devices. Keep in mind this won’t affect any of your photos.
