iOS 15 allows FaceTime compatibility between Android and iPhone

On June 7, 2021 apple released test versions of iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 to give their users a better experience including more features coming up. The company first announced the release at Worldwide Developers Conference in June 2021. As they said in this new Operating System they mainly focused on updates to iMessage, Wallet, Safari, and FaceTime.

The beta version is nothing but a test version. The idea is to let enthusiasts and developers throughout the world test and explore the new features in these prerelease versions. This can also benefit Apple to identify software errors and some other issues before the final version will be released this fall

Facetiming With Android Users:

This pandemic inspired Apple to make some decisions regarding connecting people. Until now FaceTime was only available to Apple users but now the company is allowing Android and Windows users to have the benefits of FaceTime(developed by Apple).

During the pandemic, a lot of people started using Zoom or Microsoft Teams now Apple has also decided to bring the users on all platforms a similar experience with features like grid view, scheduling calls, and SharePlay.

Here’s how this works FaceTime works, If you are an Android or Windows user and you want to FaceTime with an Apple user you need a link generated from an Apple device. This way you can use FaceTime without installing the app. You can share the link through any platform. After getting the link you just have to click on it, and then start using it on your device.

How To Install iOS 15:

Step1: Visit the Apple Beta software site on your Apple device and sign in to your Apple account.

Step2:  By selecting “enroll your devices” sign up and agree to terms and conditions.

Step3: Select the software that you desire and also you can try the iPadOS 15 if you have a space iPad.

Step4: Click on the “Download profile” button.

Step5: Open settings, and select profile, and hit install.

Step6: Your phone will reboot.

Step7: Go to Settings > General > Software Update > Download and Install.

Note: To create an invitation link you must have an Apple device and must be logged in with your Apple account, mostly everything in the app can be controlled by an Apple user.
