The checks are available in many types such as personal checks, payroll checks, certified checks, and bank checks.

How to write a check? Let’s understand the basics
  1. Write the date first (Ex: 7/6/2021)
  2. Write for whom this check is? (Ex: Halfofthe)
  3. Write the payment amount (Ex: 500)
  4. Write payment amount in words (Ex: Five Hundred)
  5. Write a memo (Ex: Water bill) – This step is optional
  6. Sign the check (Your signature) – Most important part

There are no other conditions than that you should have enough balance on your accounts. Make sure you check the check stubs carefully before signing them. If there is any mistake, then crossing must be used by circling “void” on the line next to or below the error(s) found and write “Void” across the entire check immediately below the signature section as proof that the check has been canceled.

Once you check your check stubs, sign across the entire check after the void line is crossed and write payable to followed by the payee’s name on the check-in memo section. Then deposit your check on time.
