1Weather is one of the best weather applications for mobile phones. It has a clean interface, contains all the basic info. A weather radar, severe weather alerts, along decent widgets. As an added bonus, the little weather fun facts are enjoyable. The free version has everything with the inclusion ads, whereas the premium version removes them pesky ads. It is a rock-solid, single-payment weather app in the market.

Bouncer

Price: $0.99

Bouncer is a security app with a focus on Android permissions. You can manage those permissions on the spot without having to dive into the menus. This app also lets you grant temporary permissions that it will automatically revoke later. For example, you have the ability to enable location to check into a place on Facebook, then set Bouncer to remove that specific permission later. The only issue is that it is not worth it for Android versions beyond Android 10, as most of its functionality is built into the OS nowadays.

Kustom Industries apps

Price: Free / $4.49 each

Kustom Industries is a developer on Google Play with some great premium apps. The first is KWGT, a custom widget-maker, where you are granted the ability to make widgets that do a variety of things. There is KLWP, which is a custom live wallpaper maker. In the end, there is also KLCK, one of the last custom lock screen apps. All of these three apps follow a similar premise. They let you create customized things for your phone with a no-nonsense WYSIWYG editor along with simple instructions. Each app has a free version as well as a premium version that costs $4.49 per app. 

MediaMonkey

Price: Free / $2.49

MediaMonkey is an excellent audio player with good functionality. The UI isn’t flashy. However, you do get a wide range of methods to sort your music, playlist support, Android Auto support, Google Chromecast support (along with casting to DLNA/UPnP devices), along with the ability to support third-party scribblers like last. FM. This is among the few Android music players which have a desktop version. You have the ability to sync the two similar to the old iTunes. The desktop version is more expensive, however, the two do support wireless syncing over Wi-Fi. 

Nova Launcher Prime

Price: Free / $4.99

This app is the Nova Launcher Prime is the gold standard for Android launcher apps. It boasts a modern UI, along with tons of extras, some theming features, among others. You also have the ability to customize everything from the size of a home screen to the number of icons on the dock, among plenty of other things.
